Message from Swami Durgananda – Christmas 2011
I wish you all the Seasons Greetings and hope that the New Year is full of joy and fulfillment.
This past year has been for many of you one of personal and spiritual achievement, which is very rewarding. Nevertheless, you must not believe that the end goal has been achieved, as the New Year will again test your commitment to self and your spiritual journey.
Our theme for the coming year is Sadhana the spiritual journey, and your responsibilities as a Sadhaka.
You will be asked to use your freewill, as a mature asset during this time, and my wish is that you will once again with courage and Sraddha walk with me, on the path of Self Realisation.
During the celebration of Christmas try to remain in the moment and truly experience all of life’s bounty and richness of spirit that surrounds you, at the same time give some thought to those less fortunate than yourself.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during the holiday period.
